Chase Atlantic Tickets

Chase Atlantic is an Australian alternative R&B band coming out of Cairns, Queensland. They were first formed in 2014 and primarily consist of 3 members; Christian Anthony, Clinton Cave, and Mitchel Cave. The band also welcomes touring members Pat Wilde and Jesse Boyle. To date, they’ve released 7 EPs and 3 studio albums.

Music Style

The band describes their musical style as a dark alternative pop punctuated by rock and R&B. In fact, the band migrated from their early alternative/pop sound to a more alternative/R&B sound. The band also shows some synthwave influence with specific mention of Tame Impala and the Weeknd, to name a few.

Band History

The band got their start before 2014 when Christian Anthony and Mitchel Cave were in a boy band in 2012-2013. The band was called What About Tonight, which auditioned for season 4 of The X Factor Australia.

Mitchel’s older brother, Clinton Cave, then used his successful YouTube channel to help prompte the band’s cover songs. Then in 2013, the band performed together under the name K.I.D.S. (Kind Imaginations. Destructive Situations.)  After releasing the song “Addicted” they deleted the content from the channel.

Soon after, the band performed as Chase Atlantic when Clinton recruited Mitchel and Christian to help record a university project. This led to their first released EP which was often described as either Pop Rock or Pop Punk.

Chase Atlantic Today

Since then, the band has put out several EPs and 3 studio albums. They’ve also begun touring across Australia and around the world with a US tour going on in 2022. The band’s unique sound is growing in popularity with rave reviews from critics and fans alike.
